Use the trace library

Updated October 21, 2026

The trace library stores your local agent sessions so you can search and reuse them in the cloud.

When you run an agent locally — Claude Code or Codex on your machine — the trace library lets you upload those sessions to your workspace. You can then search them alongside cloud chats and artifacts.

  1. Run sky trace sync in the terminal to upload local sessions.
  2. In the web or Mac app, press ⌘K and choose Everything mode.
  3. Search for anything across chats, traces, artifacts, and memory.

Where: ⌘K > Everything (web and Mac). CLI: sky trace sync.

Good to know: traces are scoped to the workspace you are in when you sync. Uploaded traces appear as read-only sessions at no cost. Related: Import chats and setup from a local agent.
