What is the Library?

Updated October 21, 2026

The Library is where your workspace's knowledge, documents, and files live.

It has four sections:

  • Skills — Markdown instruction files that every agent in the workspace reads.
  • Memory — A shared document for facts and context agents carry into every chat.
  • Artifacts — Documents produced by agents; editable and shareable.
  • Workspace Drive — Uploaded files any agent can read and reference.

Where: Library in the sidebar (web and Mac).

The Library opens to the first section that has content. On Mac, the Library is under Library in the sidebar; on web it is the same.

Good to know: everything in the Library is workspace-scoped — all members can see it. To store something just for yourself, use the Personal memory tab. Related: What are skills?, What is workspace memory?, What are artifacts?, Store files in Workspace Drive.
