If a chat-app message goes to a chat synced from your Mac and your Mac takes it, the Mac's answer is posted back into the same chat-app conversation.
What you see in the chat app:
- Right away, one line: "Working on it on <your Mac>. The reply will be posted here."
- When the Mac's turn has synced and the answer is complete, the answer is posted there.
- Answers over 3,500 characters are cut, with a link to the rest in AgentSky.
Where: the chat-app conversation you sent the message from. The full chat is still in your workspace (Sync local Mac chats to your workspace).
Good to know:
- If no complete answer arrives within 15 minutes, one note is posted instead, with a link to follow the reply in the chat on AgentSky.
- If the synced chat is no longer on AgentSky, one note says so.
- In a conversation shared with the workspace, the answer isn't posted. You get "Running on <your Mac>. The reply shows in the chat on AgentSky:" with a link.
