Let an agent download page files on your Mac

Agents can save a page's real download into a folder you already authorized, without a Save click.

Updated November 3, 2026

An agent can save a file a web page offers to download into a folder you have already authorized, with no native Save click.

The agent picks the download link from the current page and saves the document's real file. Stopping the agent or navigating away before the save is committed stops the file from being published or replacing an existing one. An agent cannot cancel a download you started yourself.
