A Claude Code or Codex chat in the cloud can continue on your Mac, with its conversation and files. You can bring it back at any time.
- On the web, open the chat and choose ··· › Continue on your Mac. In the Mac app, choose Continue in… › On this Mac.
- If you started on the web, choose Open in AgentSky for Mac when the chat says it is ready, then Continue on this Mac.
Until a Mac takes it, the chat stays in the cloud. Send a message there and the move is cancelled, so a chat is never stuck waiting for a Mac.
Once a Mac takes it, the cloud chat stops taking messages and says where it continues.
To bring it back, choose Bring back to the cloud in the chat, on the web or the Mac. It picks up from where the cloud left it. Anything done on the Mac since then stays there, and the Mac's copy stops taking messages. To carry that work to the cloud instead, use Continue a Mac chat in the cloud on the Mac.
Where: Web: chat header ··· menu. Mac: the chat's Continue in… sheet. Agents can use sky session continue-here, sky session return-to-cloud, and the MCP tools continue_on_computer and return_to_cloud.
