Updated November 3, 2026

The Mac app tells you when a teammate's chat starts waiting on you, even if you have never opened it.

  1. A teammate's chat in your workspace starts waiting on you.
  2. The Mac app posts one notification titled "<chat title> needs you", with the chat's status line as its text.
  3. Click the notification to open the chat.

Where: Mac app, in macOS notifications.

Good to know: only waits are announced, not a teammate's run working or finishing. It appears only when the app's window isn't in front. Chats that were already waiting when you sign in or switch workspace aren't announced again. Notifications must be allowed for AgentSky in macOS (Mac app permissions).
