When a Mac chat fails to load or run

If a Mac chat can't open or a local run fails, the chat shows the error and your message goes back in the composer.

When a chat on your Mac can't open or a run fails, the app shows the error and keeps your message.

  • The chat won't open. The chat shows the error. Choose Try again to repeat the read that failed.
  • A local run can't start. Your message is taken out of the chat and put back in the composer, with the error shown. Edit it if you want and send again. Changing the text clears the error.
  • A local run fails after it started. The error appears in the chat and your message goes back in the composer. Try again sends the same request again. If you have already typed something else in the composer, the app leaves it alone.
  • The chat's folder is gone. The button says Choose Folder, so you can point the chat at another one.
  • Changing a chat's folder fails. The chat keeps its previous folder and shows the error.

Where: Mac app › any chat.
