If the agent cannot control apps or see your screen, AgentSky may need additional macOS permissions.
The first time you open AgentSky for Mac, an Allow AgentSky sheet asks for all needed permissions at once. If you skipped it or something is missing, follow the steps below.
Check permissions in macOS System Settings:
-
Open System Settings › Privacy & Security.
-
For each category below, find AgentSky in the list and make sure the toggle is on:
- Accessibility — needed for computer use (controlling apps)
- Screen Recording — needed for the agent to see your screen
- Microphone — needed for dictation
- Notifications — needed to alert you when tasks finish
-
Restart AgentSky after granting any permission.
If AgentSky is not in the list:
Click the + button in that category and navigate to the AgentSky app in your Applications folder to add it.
Good to know: Permissions granted while AgentSky is closed may require a restart to take effect. Computer use is per-app: you choose which apps the agent can control — Accessibility covers the ability to send keystrokes and clicks; Screen Recording covers seeing the screen content.
