Chat windows and the Dock in the Mac app

Open chats in separate windows, start or return to chats from the Dock menu, and drop files on the Dock icon to attach them to a new chat.

Updated November 3, 2026

Work in several chats side by side, each in its own window, and reach your chats from the Dock.

Open another window:

  • Choose File › New Window (⇧⌘N).
  • Or open a chat's menu and choose Open in New Window.

Each window remembers the chat it has open.

Use the Dock:

  • The Dock menu has New Chat and Quick Ask, then your recent chats. Running chats come first, marked "Working".
  • The Dock icon shows a progress indicator while any chat in that list is working.
  • Drop files on the Dock icon to attach them to a new chat, up to 20 at a time. Nothing is sent until you send it.

Where: Mac app › File menu, a chat's menu, and the AgentSky Dock icon.

Good to know: while an agent is using your screen, the Dock menu offers Stop Using This Mac. Related: Keyboard shortcuts in the Mac app, Open AgentSky from Shortcuts and Spotlight, Attach files to a chat.
