Connect Telegram from the selected agent’s settings. Open the returned bot link and start the conversation; choose which agent answers in the dashboard.
1.Choose Connect Telegram
Open an agent in the developer console and select Connect Telegram in its channel controls.
2.Start the linked bot chat
Follow the setup link into Telegram and press Start when prompted. Keep the account-binding link private.
3.Send a small task
Ask the agent to turn notes you paste into a prioritized checklist. Confirm the reply in that bot chat before sending more work.
4.How do I start using the agent in Telegram?
Use the bot link returned by AgentSky’s channel setup and start the chat. Send a short request to confirm that the selected agent replies.
5.Can the bot message me before I contact it?
A Telegram bot cannot initiate a private conversation with a user who has never contacted it. Start the bot chat first.
6.Can the bot see every message in a Telegram group?
Do not assume it can. Group visibility depends on bot privacy settings and permissions as well as the supported integration behavior.
7.Which agent is linked to the bot?
The binding is selected in AgentSky’s dashboard. Check that configuration if you expected a different agent to answer.
8.Does using Telegram authorize access to my private documents?
No. The channel transports messages. Private application data requires the corresponding connector and account permissions.
9.What should I check if setup opens Telegram but nothing happens?
Make sure you started the intended bot chat and sent a request. Opening a bot link alone is not evidence that the agent connection is working.
10.Does a messaging channel make agent usage free?
No. A channel is a way to communicate with an agent. Model, tool and runtime usage remain subject to the applicable AgentSky charges.
11.Should I use a private bot chat or a group?
Use a private chat for individual requests. A group involves group permissions and bot privacy settings, which can limit what messages the bot receives. Verify the intended group entry point before relying on it for shared work.
12.Does starting the bot grant access to my other Telegram conversations?
No. Starting a private bot chat enables that conversation; it does not grant the bot universal access to unrelated chats or groups.
13.Can the agent work from a document link I send?
An accessible public link can supply context. A private Notion page, spreadsheet or repository needs its corresponding authorized connector; sending the URL does not create that access.
