**An agent can ask anyone to sign a document and can read the result. The person needs no account. It cannot sign. Only they can, in their own browser.**

Open the link, or press Review and sign on the item in your to-dos or in the agent's page. You see who is asking and the title. Give your name, and your email if the page asks, then enter the code sent to that address. The document opens only after that, and if you are already signed in with the address the request names, you skip the code.

Agree to sign electronically, read to the signature block at the end, type your name, and press Finish. Some requests ask you to draw instead. The stamp shows that you signed electronically, your signature, your name, the date and time with your time zone, and a short signature ID. A PDF of the signed document is emailed to you and can be downloaded from the page.

AgentSky keeps a record of the signature ID, your signature, your name, your verified email, what proved you, the time, your IP address, and the document's version and hash. That record cannot be changed. If the document changes, it needs a new signature.

Never give the code to anyone or to an AI agent: it lets them sign as you. If you get an email saying you signed something you did not, reply to it right away.

A request can be for one named person, or a link anyone holding it can open, where each person signs their own copy. A link's document can be read by anyone who has the link and an email address, so use a named request for anything confidential. A request can also require signing in to an account, for a document that must not rest on a mailbox.

On a Mac, Review and sign opens your browser, because agents can use the app's window.

Whether an electronic signature is valid depends on where you are and what you sign. AgentSky records what happened; it does not give legal advice.

Agents ask through the API (`POST /v1/signing-requests`, `GET /v1/signing-requests/{id}`, `GET /v1/signing-requests/{id}/copy`), the MCP tools `create_signing_request`, `read_signing_request`, `read_signing_document`, `list_signing_requests` and `cancel_signing_request`, and `sky signing`. A person's key works, and so does a workspace's own key, including one made with `restriction: "signing"`, which can do nothing else, so a product's agents can hold it. None of them can complete a signature.
