# Share an artifact

> Share an artifact as a private link, with workspace members, or with anyone who has the link.

**Share an artifact as a private link, with workspace members, or with anyone who has the link.**

You choose the access level when you share. Workspace members can always view shared artifacts; you can also create a public link.

1. Open the artifact.
2. Click Share in the artifact header.
3. Set the access level: Private, Can view, or Can edit.
4. Copy the link and send it.

Where: Artifact header > Share (web and Mac).

Good to know: only the owner can rename, delete, or change the sharing level of an artifact. Workspace members with Can edit access can make changes; viewers can read and download. To stop sharing, return to the Share dialog and set it back to Private.
