**Standing rules and lessons in workspace memory are injected into every agent turn automatically.**

Create notes inside a /rules/ or /lessons/ folder in your workspace memory and agents follow them without you having to repeat them each time. Use /rules/ for hard constraints ("always cite sources") and /lessons/ for things learned from past work ("our brand voice is conversational, not formal").

1. Open Library › Memory > Workspace tab.
2. Create a note at the path /rules/your-rule or /lessons/your-lesson.
3. Add the instruction as plain text.

Where: Library › Memory (web and Mac).

Reflection is a related feature: after a task finishes, the agent can propose new skill or lesson notes for a person to review and approve. Reflection is off by default — enable it in workspace settings.

Good to know: rules and lessons count toward memory context; keep them concise. Related: [What is workspace memory?](https://agentsky.dev/help/memory-overview), [Create notes in workspace memory](https://agentsky.dev/help/memory-store).
