# Get notifications on your phone

**AgentSky sends push notifications when an agent finishes a task or needs your input.**

You do not need to keep the app open. When something needs your attention — a completed task or a question from the agent — a notification arrives on your lock screen.

**Android (available now):**

1. Install the AgentSky app from agentsky.dev/download.
2. Open the app. When prompted, allow notifications.
3. Run a task — when it finishes, a notification appears.
4. Tap the notification to open the chat directly.

**iPhone (coming with the App Store release):**

Push notifications will be available when the AgentSky iPhone app is released on the App Store. In the meantime, you can check task status by opening agentsky.dev in Safari.

**Notification types:**

- Task finished — the agent completed the work
- Input needed — the agent has a question for you

The app badge clears when you open the relevant chat. When you sign out, notifications for that account stop.

**Good to know:** You can also receive agent updates via messaging apps like iMessage, Telegram, or Slack — no phone app required for those.
