**Run Claude Code or Codex on your Mac using your connected account.**

The task runs on your Mac. Model usage is billed through the account or AgentSky connection selected for that run. Chats sync to your workspace automatically so you and your teammates can continue them on the web.

1. Open AgentSky on your Mac.
2. Start a new chat. In the agent menu, pick Claude Code or Codex under **Run on this Mac**. Cloud agents are under **Run in the cloud**.
3. Send your task. No folder dialog opens. Local shell commands run without an approval dialog.
4. The chat appears in your workspace on the web too.

**Which folder the agent works in:** you do not have to pick one. The folder chip starts with the last folder you used, or `~/AgentSky`. When you send the first message, if your task names a project you have checked out on your Mac (by folder name or GitHub `owner/name`), the agent runs there. If it names a GitHub repository of yours or your organizations' that is not on your Mac, the app clones it to `~/AgentSky/<name>`. A folder you pick yourself from the chip is kept as is.

Where: Mac app > New chat.

Good to know: there is no Allow or Deny step for local agent commands — they just run, so only give a local agent tasks you are happy for it to carry out on your Mac. Sync can be turned off per workspace in Settings › This Mac.
