# Start your first chat

**Type your task, pick an agent, and press Enter — the agent starts in seconds.**

The home page shows a row of suggested agents above the composer. You can pick one or just type your task and let the default run. The chat name is set automatically from your first message.

1. Go to agentsky.dev or open the Mac app.
2. See the agent suggestions strip and choose one, or type your task directly into the composer.
3. Press Enter (or click the send button).
4. The agent provisions in the cloud — a "Working" indicator appears while it starts.

Good to know: a new chat runs one agent. You can attach files, connect a GitHub repo with "Add folder", or choose "+" › Compare agents to run a second agent on the same task.
