# Delete a workspace

> Deleting a workspace permanently removes all its chats, skills, memory, files, and settings — this cannot be undone.

**Deleting a workspace permanently removes all its chats, skills, memory, files, and settings — this cannot be undone.**

Only the workspace owner can delete a workspace. The default (first) workspace cannot be deleted.

1. Go to Settings › Team › Members.
2. Scroll to Danger zone.
3. Type the workspace name to confirm.
4. Click Delete workspace.

Where: Web and Mac — Settings › Team › Members › Danger zone.

CLI: `sky workspace delete`

Good to know: all members lose access immediately. Credits are not automatically refunded when a workspace is deleted. Contact support if you need help recovering a recently deleted workspace.
