**Connect WhatsApp by scanning a pairing QR code with the number you want to use. Messages to that number then reach your agent.**

1. Open Plugins and choose the Chat apps filter.
2. Choose WhatsApp. On the Mac, this continues on the web.
3. Read the note: pairing links the number as the agent's device, Meta can ban numbers linked this way, and anyone who messages it reaches your agent. Use a spare number.
4. Choose **Show QR**. "Waiting for WhatsApp…" stays up until you finish.
5. On your phone, open WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device, and scan the code.

Where: Plugins, then WhatsApp.

Good to know: this is an unofficial linked-device connection, not the WhatsApp Business API. If pairing stops, show a new QR and try again. To disconnect the number, log the device out under Linked devices in WhatsApp. An agent can start the same pairing with `sky plugins add chat:whatsapp`.
