# Change your app appearance

**Choose between Light, Dark, and System mode, and pick an accent color.**

Your appearance settings apply across the web and Mac app in real time. There is no need to reload.

**How to change your appearance:**

1. Go to Settings › You › Appearance.
2. Choose a mode:
   - **System** — follows your operating system's light/dark setting (default)
   - **Light** — always light
   - **Dark** — always dark
3. Pick an accent color — nine swatches inspired by Pantone colors of the year. Hover each to see the color name. The default is Cloud Dancer (off-white).

Where: Settings › You › Appearance (web and Mac)

**Good to know:** The accent color changes buttons, links, and highlights throughout the app. The setting is stored in your account, so it follows you across devices.
