**The AgentSky API lets you create agents, start chats, send messages, and stream results from any language.**

The API gives developers programmatic access to the full AgentSky platform. You can automate agent workflows, build integrations, and embed agent capabilities in your own products.

Base URL: `https://agentsky.dev`

OpenAPI spec (machine-readable contract): `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1/openapi.json`

**Core objects:**

- **Agent** — a reusable configuration: which AI engine to use, which model, the system prompt, tools, and connected apps.
- **Session** — one running chat. A session is long-lived and stateful; it keeps memory and history across turns.
- **Turn** — one user message plus the agent's response. Start a turn with `POST /api/v1/sessions/{id}/messages`.

**How to get started:**

1. Create an API key in Settings › Team › API.
2. Set `Authorization: Bearer <key>` on every request.
3. Create an agent: `POST /api/v1/agents`.
4. Start a session: `POST /api/v1/sessions`.
5. Send a message and stream the response: `POST /api/v1/sessions/{id}/messages`.

Where: API — `https://api.agentsky.dev/v1`

**Good to know:** Every session gets its own API binding at creation — you do not need to register it separately. The OpenAPI document is the authoritative contract; if anything here and the spec disagree, the spec wins.
