WhatsApp channel
Pair a WhatsApp number with an agent.
Use the linked-device pairing flow to let incoming messages reach your selected agent. This is an unofficial connection; review the risks before choosing a number.
Setup
Connect WhatsApp and verify your first task.
A secondary WhatsApp number you control, access to its Linked Devices settings, and an AgentSky agent.
Read the pairing consent
Select Connect WhatsApp in the agent’s channel controls. The consent explains that Meta can ban the linked number and recommends using a secondary number.
Scan the current QR code
On the phone for the number being paired, open WhatsApp Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device. Scan the displayed QR; it rotates while waiting.
Test from a different number
Send a small request to the paired number from another account you control. Messages sent by the paired number itself do not reach the agent. Confirm the response and usage.

Know what this connection does.
A channel provides a conversation entry point. Configure task-specific tools, credentials and permissions separately, and review model and runtime pricing before running work.
Number risk
This connection is unofficial and is not the WhatsApp Business Platform API. A ban affects the WhatsApp account you pair.
Who can run work
Anyone messaging the paired number can reach the selected agent, and those messages count toward your usage. Choose the number and audience accordingly.
Pairing recovery
Wait for a current QR and the connected state. If the flow reports a disconnect, use its retry control; a screenshot of an old QR is not a completed connection.

Is this an official WhatsApp Business API integration?
No. The current AgentSky channel uses unofficial linked-device pairing. Evaluate the number risk before accepting the setup consent.
Why does texting from the paired number not trigger my agent?
The agent answers incoming messages from people writing to the paired number. Test from another account you control.
Who pays for incoming requests?
Incoming messages that run the agent count toward your AgentSky usage. A channel connection does not waive model or runtime charges.
