Social media publishing
Publish and schedule posts on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon and Google Business Profile. Connect your account through managed OAuth to use the available operations in an agent task.
Setup
Connect Social media publishing with an explicit scope.
You need an AgentSky account and authority to connect the application account. Start with a read-only task before allowing changes.
Find the application
Open connector settings and search for Social media publishing. If the catalog is unavailable, retry its load; an unavailable list is not proof the app is unsupported.
Review authorization
One authorization page connects any of X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon and Google Business Profile. Each social account becomes its own connection, and an agent posts as exactly one of them per request; connecting several accounts does not let one post on another's platform.
Verify a bounded task
Ask the agent to save one post as a draft on a named account, with the text you want, and to report the draft's status without publishing it.
Verify access and results
A connected account is the start of the workflow.
Read the draft's status and text back before allowing anything to publish. For a scheduled or published post, check the time and the live post on the platform itself.
Access troubleshooting
If a post fails, check that the account is still connected and that the content meets the platform's own rules, such as a length limit or required media. Reconnect an account the platform revoked on the Connectors page.
Available actions
The runtime discovers the connector's current operations and input requirements. Do not assume every feature in the application's website is available as an agent action.
Authorize changes explicitly
For writes, specify the target and the allowed change. An instruction to draft or analyze is not permission to publish, send or delete.
